I shot this photo from the Barnes & Noble window looking down on sixth avenue in the village this afternoon.  I like how graphic it is – with the black & white umbrella, the black pavement, white lines and the dark shadows reflected in the wet pavement.  It’s a gloomy rainy Monday – but there is also an air of danger in the image… as to me, it looks like this woman is being followed by a shadowy man dressed in black!

Tonight I took a Champagne and Cheese class at Murray’s (mmmmmmmmm) after working in the caves all morning and I am exhausted!  Starting tomorrow, I am going to do my postings in the morning instead of at night, as I think my brain will be much fresher!  ‘Til tomorrow.
