I took this photo last night on the way home from the Woodstock Film Festival launch party. I don’t even know what kind of car it is but man… it is SEXY! I tried to find out who makes it online, but all I found was that apparently, the RAC emblem stands for the Royal Automobile Club, an exclusive private motoring club in Britain… fancy fancy.
Meanwhile, I don’t think I’ve announced it officially yet, but Adam’s film Hello Lonesome is going to be having its east coast premiere in Woodstock, NY this fall as part of the awesome Woodstock Film Festival! Woo hoo! We’re beginning to gear up again with more festival excitement! Last night, they held a launch party at Libation on the lower east side where filmmakers, festival staff and press could meet and mingle. We had some free drinks (thank you Ketel One) and met some cool people. I spent most of the evening sitting and chatting up a storm with a writer for Film Journal International named David Noh. He was hilarious – I kind of want him to be my new best friend.
Anyway… keeping it brief today. I’m elbow deep in laundry and mama Karen’s matzoh ball soup so I have to run! More tomorrow!
PS… (an addendum) my husband just informed me that the car is a Porsche Spyder and that James Dean died driving his!
Three things:
1) The car is a Spyder. James Dean died in one!
2) Woodstock, woot!
3) Matzo Ball Soup = Magic.
I love you.
Me
