I bought this monkey for Adam a while ago when we were just dating because it reminded me of him… all cuddly and rumply and cute. Anyway – Adam and I did a photo shoot with the monkey on the roof yesterday afternoon (for work… seriously… we were working) and this little guy is probably now going to be featured prominently on the Bodega website (Adam’s company). We’ve created a star. No, but really – doesn’t he have such personality? Here are some other highlights from our rooftop monkey shoot:
Now I’m waiting for Adam to get home so we can order in dinner. I’ve been in a slight cooking rut lately. I think it’s because things have been so busy. I enjoy cooking the most when I can really take my time with it you know? So tonight what to have… what to have? I’m thinking some Indian from Banjara might be quite delish. Perhaps a little chili paneer? Mmmmmm.
Anyway, I spent some time with my friends at the nursing home today. I missed going there last week because I did that wine show – and I really miss it when I don’t go. Sometimes I don’t exactly feel like going – but when I leave there, I always feel like I did something good. And I feel happy. I notice that I walk down the street smiling after I leave. And that makes people smile at me and it causes this chain reaction of niceness, which you don’t always get walking around in the East Village.
